Where do the venders find all that great stuff? Anyplace and everywhere. We shop estate sales. thrift shops, garage sales, moving sales our own attics, relatives attics and flea markets.
Make sure to inspect your finds too. If you are buying to resell then you must pay attention to the condition of the piece. Run your figures across the glass and dishware, look for the chips. If you buy it anyway then remember you have to price it with the flaw in mind. But if you have plans for it with a creative idea, go for it.
Theres also the idea of buying items to enhance the display of your handmade goods. That's why I buy vintage wares, it makes the display alot more fun to look at.
